Blocks & triangles

Here’s my first block for the Bloggers BOM quiltalong organized by Jackie of Canton Village Quilt Works.

I love the fabrics and just realized that I really, really want to get more of the background, so I can make a whole quilt with it, and I have no idea what it actually is… I found it in the remainder basket at the quilt store. I think I’d use a simple gray solid for the sashing, just like the background of the picture (which is, incidentally, the radiator cover in front of our living room window with loads of crayon marks on it because my children feel it’s more fun to draw on wood than paper).
